The Mix & Match Technique in Modern Lens Surgery
Keywords:
Mix and Match; Premium IOLs; cataractAbstract
Cataract surgery is constantly evolving to meet patients’ visual needs. In this field of research, intraocular lenses play a key role; therefore, Mix and Match -the combination of premium intraocular lenses with different visual ranges- stands as an indispensable tool for advanced customization of visual outcomes. This allows the surgeon to adapt to each patient’s specific needs and optimize postoperative quality of life in the era of precision medicine in ophthalmology, while enabling complete independence from glasses in daily life.
