Intralenticular foreign bodies are an infrequent cause of ocular morbidity. We present the case of a 63-year-old patient with traumatic cataract caused by an intralenticular foreign body after open globe ocular trauma in zone one. Diagnosis and management were performed by multimodal imaging studies, including Pentacam. Foreign body extraction, phacoemulsification and intravitreal injection of ceftazidime were performed in a single surgical time, achieving a satisfactory evolution. Pentacam proved to be a valuable tool in preoperative evaluation and follow-up, providing detailed information on the affected ocular structures and postoperative changes. This case highlights the importance of an individualized approach and the use of advanced imaging technologies in the management of intralenticular foreign bodies, contributing to the evidence on the usefulness of Pentacam in complex ophthalmologic cases.
